Applying for Finance

Do you carry out a credit search?
A credit check is part of the application for finance.  You can obtain a copy of your credit report from Experian Ltd. by writing to Customer Support Centre, Experian Ltd., PO Box 8000, Nottingham, NG80 7WF or visiting

Do I need to supply information about my salary and expenses?
As part of the discussion about the affordability of any particular agreement for your circumstances, we do need to collect some basic information about incomings and outgoings.

You should not enter into a finance agreement unless you are sure you will be able to afford the full payments throughout the term of the loan, and there are no unforeseen reasons that would prevent you from completing the regular payments.

How long will it take to process my application?
Once all the necessary information has been collected and the application is submitted it normally takes only a few minutes to receive the response.

Can I pay off my loan agreement early?
Yes, you can settle your loan anytime before the end of the term.

Am I allowed to pay more on a payment than is required?
You can pay more than a particular payment.  Higher payments will be subtracted from the payments at the end of the agreement, shortening the term if applicable.

Are there any penalties for settling my agreement early?
There are no penalties for paying off your loan before the term is over.

If I paid more than required on one payment, may I pay less than required for another payment later?
No, each payment must be paid in full.
